The Student Will
C1Describe recent developments and security issues which relate to the Internet and describe the concepts of Internet culture and etiquette.
C2Describe the main features of a variety of current Internet components. (e.g. Usenet, Electronic Communication, Telnet, FTP, search tools, World Wide Web)
A3Use current Internet tools in order to send mail and to locate and retrieve resources.
A4Create simple web documents.

> Relate recent developments to history of the Internet where applicable.
> Include description of the Internet backbone.
> Include discussion of how to minimise the security risks.
