Dr Jane Chu Prey, Microsoft Research, USA

Jane was a faculty member in the Computer Science Department at the University of Virginia for 11 years before joining Microsoft Research in January 2004 where she leads the Tablet Technologies in Higher Education initiative. She also spent 2 years at the National Science Foundation as a Program Director in the Division of Undergraduate Education. Jane is a member of the IEEE CS Educational Activities Board as well as a former member of the board for ACM SIGCSE and is also currently the chair of the FIE Steering committee.
