Lecturer(s) full or part-time are required to teach and support research on The Bachelor of Computing Systems at Waiariki Institute of Technology, Rotorua.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team, to implement this programme in Rotorua. The BCS is an applied degree in computing designed to meet the demand for computing professionals with advanced qualifications. It covers technical and theoretical concepts with a strong emphasis on practical application.
To join our team you need to have a degree in Information Technology or Computing Systems. Waiariki will support your approved continued professional development.
Preferred teaching areas include: gui programming, network administration, network design and data communications, operating systems, system development and system design methodologies.

Hi,
I am currently a departmental head for Computer Engineering at Technikon Pretoria (South Africa). I am lecturing in Operating Systems (Linux) and Computer Security and is also busy with my PhD in Computer Science at the Uiversity of South Africa.
