We have an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced computer expert to join a leading Information Technology team in the tertiary sector. This new position has resulted due to further growth in computing student numbers.
The Information Technology Section offers a Bachelor of Computing Systems Degree, The National Certificate in Business Computing and the EIT Certificate in Information Technology, in addition to participating in a number other EIT qualifications.
Key areas of responsibility will be to teach on the degree and CBC programmes, co-ordinate and manage student industry based projects, develop new courses and contribute to the faculty research output.
Applicants should have:
· appropriate post graduate qualifications
· relevant business/industry or teaching experience
· the ability to relate to students at all levels
· research and publication ability
· the ability to work in a team of academics in curriculum development
