UNITEC's Master of Computing programme got off to a flying start with 70 enrolments in its first year, including 28 full-timers and 7 polytechnic lecturers. The programme, which features weekend classes supported by electronic means (telephone, email, discussion board), focuses on instructional technology, multimedia, networks and the internet. In 2001 all courses will be available in Auckland and a selection will be offered in Wellington.
