A 2 Draw data flow diagrams using a top down approach from the context diagram to the process specifications. A 3 Develop a data dictionary which includes definitions of all data structures, data flows, processes and aliases. A 4 Apply other modelling techniques appropriate to an existing system. A 5 Document each phase of the structured systems analysis. It is recommended that a case tool be used.
