CIC Programme Structure |
2.1 CIC Programme Aim | The aim of the CIC is to enhance readiness for further study in computing and related fields and for employment using computers.
The holder of this qualification is entitled to use the letters CIC after their name.

2.2 Module Categories and Credits top | The modules that make up the programmes are categorised as follows:
Systems Hardware and Software (HSnnn)
Software Applications (APnnn)
Business Skills (BSnnn)
Software Development (SDnnn)
Electronic Communication (ECnnn)
Special Topic (STnnn)
All modules are worth 5 credits.

2.3 CIC Programme Requirements top | CIC requires the successful completion of 60 credits, with the following supplementary requirements:
No more than 30 credits from any one category
Must have representation from at least 3 of the categories AP, BS, HS.
