Yes it does -now where is the Multimedia forum - after all it is 11am on Friday morning (06/07/01) and you said you would start one on Wednesday(04/07/01).

Hi Mike - is this type of threaded discussion able to allow a user to 'bookmark' a thread position so that as the threads grow they (the user) can carry on from their last reading position. Imagine when some heated discussion with 200 posts has eventuated and you have to wade through all the old ones to get to the ones you haven't read.

Why don't you just install a <b>free</b>, professional, off the shelf, modern forum system such as phpbb, instead of wasting time and effort developing your own forum software that inevitably doesn't provide all the features that forum users now come to expect?
