Organisations establish websites for a number of reasons and expect them to meet a variety of aims. For NACCQ, the aims are to create a site that is useful, one to which you might return frequently. A site that is both informative and interactive. One that gives you a personal opportunity to foster computing in New Zealand. That is the vision for this site.

You will note that it looks different. Once completed it will also function differently than before. Very soon you will see not only the Bluebook on line, but also Conference proceedings, aspects of moderation, notifications of interest. Beyond the informative is the interactive. You will have opportunity to comment on prescriptions and the shape of qualifications. It is envisaged that SIG’s will operate through the site.

The NACCQ Communications Working Group has been given the responsibility to make this site a place where ideas can be exchanged and the latest information presented.

But wait, there’s more ....

Well, if you can think of something more, we would like to hear about it!

The 14th Annual Conference is almost upon us. How quickly these come around. If you haven’t already done so take the time to browse the conference links. Links have also been provided into the Hawke’s Bay region. Think about extending your stay, maybe a wee holiday is in order. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the conference.
